At the beginning of the year, our friend Ryo of STANCE Motorcycles, asked us, to make him some special hats to go along w/ the show bike he was building for Born Free. The only brief we got was that it was going to be a pink 1960 Triumph chopper, flamingo inspired.
I immediately had the vision of vintage embroidered flamingos & palm trees on a cord snapback, like something your grandparents would bring back from the zoo or Florida.
I got a sneak peak of the bike in April when I was in Nagoya for the Joints Show & I knew we were on the right track. Seeing it finished on the grass at Born Free, the "Pretty Flamingo" truly shined.
Beautiful pearlescent Pink gradients, chrome & amazing custom upholstery came together to take home the "Best British" award.
The FLAMINGO Snapback was made in limited numbers & released at the Stance Born Free Booth. In Japan, it will be available at the Stance Shop in Nagoya.
