I've waited long enough since the hat arrived to be as objective as possible. I was a little frustrated when it arrived. Love all the materials, color etc. Construction is handmade, of course, and there were a couple of loose threads I had to cut and cauterize with a lighter. Unfortunately one of those loose threads was on the top of the brim and cauterizing it kinda effed it up. Frustrating. The longer I have it, the less it bothers me. But now to how the hat wears: It could really use a buckram to help it keep shape. Being all mesh, when it gets put on, the front center seam wants to lay with one panel folding over the other, which would be helped to always lay consistently if it had a semi-rigid or even rigid buckram. I wanted to like this hat more than I do, but with time maybe my perspective will change.

This hat is money. You won’t find another one like it unless you order one just like it.
