It was a no brainer to team up with our friends, at Ventura, CA based, MadeWest Brewery for a couple hats. When I lived up there, I'd love hitting their tap room to try the newest specialty brew or grab a crowler of my favorite Morning Sound Pilsner or Hazy IPA, straight from the source.
We did two hats together, this one is the classic Ampal felt letter style for that vintage athletic/collegiate/race feel. An ode to our favorite adult beverage.

Love this hat, high quality, durable, I would absolutely love it see it release in a nylon hat or something a little more lightweight.

I was hesitant to order this hat at first because my dome is relatively shallow and the Ampal site doesn't have crown measurements. The only sizing descriptor for this hat indicates "deep, like a trucker or a fitted" which worried me initially, but I am happy to report that it fits my shallow head perfectly! My photo is a comparison of the Ampal hat vs. the world's largest headwear maker's trucker hat. The crown measurement is nearly identical and rests perfectly above my ears. Build quality, fit and finish are 10/10 - Will buy again!
Wear to any brewery and not feel bad.
This hat is the perfect example of "the hat" I have been looking for. The quality and craftsmanship is the best I've seen. Every hat I've owned has never had the weight or durability of this. Thank you for making the best hat I've owned.
