The New Minimum

From the makers of TAC 2.0 comes The New Minimum. Definitely worth taking a look.
“The New Minimum is a magazine about unique perspectives. We realized that the web has lots of good ideas but has a hard time with presenting them in a compelling manner. Our priority is to match good content with great art direction.”
Look for some future TAC x TNM synergy.
Sunday Fundays

2010 started off with an ode to the California Dream, a beautiful warm mid-winter sunday. While our day was filled cleansing the last remnants of a NYE hangover, surfing all time waves at Blacks, I couldn’t help but think of another California tradition – the sunday coastal cruise. I recently stumbled upon this amazing 1 off Porsche, rumored to be a prototype of the famed 356 or “bathtub” Porsche; imagine hopping in this for a ride up the coast, with a beautiful lady at your side, the Pacific on your other, our Sunday Driver’s Cap on your head, and just the road ahead.

While this beauty can be yours for an est. $275k+ on Hemmings.com, our Sunday Driver’s Cap can capture the feeling for a much more reasonable $44.

20,000 LEAGUES one

I have been a big fan of Insight’s award winning marketing campaigns, especially the Dopamine I&II collections which to me are really more art than ad. I wish my magazines were filled with more ads like these.

Definitely amazing work by Dustin Humphries, so you can understand my excitement when I discovered Bruce Mozert on my friend/webguy’s blog jacobheftmann.com. He made the first underwater camera housing while on the set of Tarzan 3, in 1938, and captured these amazing images from the 40′s through the 70′s.

Look out for part two, more from jh, and some looks from the North Shore…

“Alterations” by Greg Lauren, Ralph’s cousin.
Amazing hand cut, sewn and painted paper garments. He studied in a tailor shop to learn traditional craftsmanship and construction.

Our friend Seth Brau did this amazing animation for the humanrightsactioncenter.org.
dream house

I think a shack in this location would be amazing, so this modern marvel on an island, in Paraty, Brazil pretty much defines paradise. You can only access it by boat/dying and going to heaven.
