I was amazed/inspired by these pics I found on my friends blog.

Shredding a huge concrete wave on your bike.  Epic feeling, epic pics.

These rekindled my desire to bring my bike into the LA river and ride for miles along the huge graffitied banks…

Its a drained hydroelectric power station in Europe, Homeland Security would probably tazer/shoot you if you tried this in the US.

Edwin (japan) worked on some co-branded footwear with Folk (UK)

The “armstrong” in black caught my eye.  Their take on the timeless desert boot offers some subtle detailin such as a suede heel cup and contrast laces over a premium leather upper for a complete package that’ll ensure at least your feet are classy.  Or throw a darkside fedora on top and take over the world…

Recently I have been noticing people and projects that have been quietly sprucing up the neighborhood and city.  Its come in varying forms, and I have been fortunate to have seen the a lot of new work going up in the last few days from the world famous TSL, MSK, and AWR crews.  Here is just a little preview, more to come…

After seeing Rusko at lot 613 with 12th Planet, I really wanted to find some more of his music.  My search led me to his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.  It was 2 hours of wobble wobble wubba wubba dubstep pleasure.  Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong has a ridiculous list of weekly guest dj’s come on and do 2 hour “essential” mixes.  I was disappointed to find Pete’s website had a faux ed hardy theme and in the picture of him he’s rockin a pink ed hardy shirt.  Regardless of PT’s fashion choices, I highly recommend giving them a listen.   Sadsteve has a bunch to stream and download.  After the 2 hour party in your ears you can check out the bbc site for tracklistings.

Loft Seven recently opened right around the corner from tAc HQ. Our friends Josh and Steph have created the premier event/loft space in downtown. They combined years of knowledge from endeavors such as Sundance Film Festival concierge service, ridiculous executive/hollywood parties on jumbo jets in the air, and managing top hip-hop acts to create one of the most dialed in locations in downtown. We’ll be givin you an in depth look at the place; they put a 2 ton crane on the roof so they can bring ANYTHING in for events…
