We highly recomend going to see DIPLO this friday at Cane’s in Mission Beach.  You should know who he is but in case you dont’, heres some highlights:  he started MAD DECENT,  produced for MIA, SANTiGOLD, made TOP RANKING, my favorite mixtape of 08 with Santi.  He was just om Jamaica with SWITCH recording their new collaboration – MAJOR LAZER.  ”Guns don’t kill people, lazers do.”  Enough said, go to the show.

Two weeks ago we had an awesome party at the 722 Figueroa Showroom that featured our upcoming line along with Ludwig Clothing and Huffer Clothing‘s new lines.  For those of you who made it, we’d just like to say thanks for coming out, and those not able to attend we hope to see you next time.  Here are some pics that the rad girls over at Tiger Tiger took of the event for everyone to enjoy!

The AMPAL Creative would just like to congratulate our longtime friend and supporter Derek Dunfee on charging the biggest paddle in wave of the winter!  Derek took the gold and was awarded $15K this Friday at the Billabong XXL Awards for the Monster Paddle award!  Phenomenal wave Derek, keep making us proud!

One of our buddies, DEREK DUNFEE, is up for one of surfing’s most prestigious awards – the XXL Awards for biggest paddle in wave.  Derek has been charging around the world since we were groms, and has recently been getting some well deserved recognition.  He’s one of five final nominees for the biggest paddle in wave and could win $15,000.   He PADDLED into the wave less than 6 months after breaking his leg surfing.  Derek we’re wishing you the best of luck.  We’d also like to give a shout out to John Maher, for his nomination.
